Today’s post is a poem I wrote in inspiration. The picture is by Cyril Rolando.
The Third Road
By Danielle Lynn
A mellow light does yield the scene
Where shadows fly above
Painting fields with greys and blues
Obscuring light and love
They flit and flicker
They dance about
These phantoms of the sky
They shoot and splinter
They flow in rhythm
They cloud my wandering eye
I glance and wonder
As they float about
Why do I never see
What meaning could
These endless patterns
Be saying about me
And as I ask
An answer comes
As clear as can be
It is as you
As you are it
For all is one with thee
