Be your own best friend

How to be your own best friend

Give yourself permission today…

To be the best friend to yourself that you need most, right now.

Think about how you would treat a dear friend, then be your own dear friend.

Be kind to you. If your life hasn’t turned out how you expected so far, consider this: Our lives very rarely turn out the ‘way we imagine they would.’ It can be hard to let go of old expectations. But whether it seems like it or not, you’re always living your best possible life for your unique blueprint. Embrace where you are right now. Pains and joys and all. It’s right where you need to be.

Don’t sweat your perceived mistakes. Mistakes are portals into new discoveries.

Consider how much you touch other people’s lives (even in ways you might not be aware of.)

Embrace your quirks. Even the ones that don’t seem to make sense. Often, your quirks point to gifts.

Remember that you can be the most incredible person there is and someone STILL won’t like you… so focus more on what moves you, not on what others think.

Things are far less personal than you might expect. Most people are living through their own biases. So, don’t sweat it.

Give yourself a pat on the back, or three, or three thousand. You deserve it far more than you know.

And remember, as unusual as it may seem at times, remember that you are a creator being in a human experience. You didn’t come here to be perfect.

You came here to give yourself a smorgasbord of experiences.

The paradox of all this is you are both a creator and a participant.

Contemplate this <3 and you’ll discover a new way of looking at life.

And no matter what has happened, what is happening, and what will happen, remember…

There are and will always be new experiments, new discoveries, new opportunities, new choices, and new pathways at your finger tips, emerging moment, to moment, to moment, to moment…

You will never be too late for the fullest experience of your life. You will always be right on time.
What a gift. <3
